Pot has been around LONGER than Alcohol. I also know women who are tremendous pot heads!
On top of that Queen Elizabeth used to smoke it to deal with her menstrual cramps. (Historical fact). Its all apples and oranges. I think you should be asking yourself do you do the drugs or do the drugs do you? |

Smoking weed in itself is not a great deal different from smoking cigarettes, or drinking alchohol. Its no big deal. But people who let themselves be defined by the fact they smoke it(or those who talk about it too much), annoy the hell out of me. Just smoke it and be quiet about it. Hummm Actually I pretty much feel the same way....If ya want to smoke or drink then do so. As long as one knows the limits and does what ever they choose to do in moderation and can function within a normal lifestyle then what does it matter what their drug choice is as long as they don't let that drug consume their life it is up to them how they live it....... No matter what you do if it is drugs working out into sports ect there is always going to be someone that does not like something you do and will turn and walk away from a relationship. All due to some take it to the extreme and make it such a habit that is all they think about....

Hey I`m just going to state that I`m a new member, just to let everyone know, but this question has been bugging me a little and I wanted to hear what others had to say on the subject. Is it really that big of a turn off when a girl finds out a guy does a drug such as weed? For me I do only natural things like shrooms and lsd and all, but I`m just wondering how many people really find that unattractive. Also if you do find it unattractive would you feel the same way as if the person drank alcohol? Or is it all mind altering substances in general? Sorry if my question seems weird lol. I won't get involved with anyone who uses any of that stuff. Including alcohol. I've lost too many people to those things already. |

Yes I am bothered by weed for a live in situation because I don't like the smell of weed. As to drinking, if a person does it a couple of time a month no problems, every day yes it is a problem. As to all other drugs, no tolerance. I have spent too much of my life in the loveless relationships that an addict offers. No tolerance anymore. |

Straight edge mommie here...raising 3 straight egde teens (as they call it) so it's a TURN OFF I used to smoke weed with the "straight edge" ministers daughter and the straight A cheerleader....Not your kids, but other kids smoked weed back in the day...You just never knew who was a smoker. True,true....I used to smoke it years ago, one night out with some co-workers we actually smoked with my boss & his wife! (shocked the shiit out of me) They were kinda high profile people that knew judges, cops, lawyers ect. Who'd a thunk that they were cool like that...lol I just don't like it anymore and so glad none of my kids smoke it. I do know it for a fact that they don't. |

ive done lsd...but shrooms are natural and personaly i use them twice a year for spiritual cleansing (i do the spirit walk on solstices) as far as weed goes i'd much rather hang around someone smoking than drinking any day!!

It is actually impossible to smoke 24/7. I did this research project in college back in the day.......

how people use makes a difference....eg. when i do shrooms i'm not doing them just because i want to get f'd up..i set the whole solstice night up for very deep contemplation ,have a bonfire ,good mellow music going(usually deep lyrics and flowing guitar solos) i sit in my chair or lay on my back and stare at the stars and let my spirit fly.....
such serenity and peace like becoming one with the universe... it cleanses my mind, and brings me back to centeredness..... its pure awareness ,undersranding and acceptance... 
back in the day i did it just to get f'd up, i missed the point. |

Also, my being allergic to cigarette smoke only adds to my dislike of it. |
