Okay, this was a new one on me, and odd.
Out with friends (won't do that again) at the local ren-festival, Scarborough Faire. Two of the friends used to run the route and knew quite a few people who work there. One of the men they knew also used to play amtgard, a medieval funnoodle reinactment fantasy group. He got out of the game years before I ever got in to it, so we didn't know each other. Introductions were being made, and I get introduced as "Whispr's ex-girlfriend". (The guy didn't even know the ex, so it was pointless anyways. Ummm, I haven't been with the guy for 6 years now. Why would I be listed as the ex in relation to him anyways? Wouldn't one just do an introduction as "This is Kendra (they didn't even use my role-play name), she used to play, but well after you got out?" Hel! I played for 6 years before I even met the ex to begin with! Needless to say, it rather irked me, and I did mention that I rather resented being labeled as the ex, when I played before we even met. But why after that amount of time, would it even come up?! |

Maybe the guy actually know your ex & there is something your friends are not telling you..

Exes have a different meaning to different people!! If U met him and spent time with him then O K, too many people think they are exes on the net but they have never met!!! I feel for ya sweetie, I met a REAL ex a few years ago and we had a great time cause we were REAL exes and had memories to share!!

Sometimes though they lead into a rather humorous story so I bring them up that way. Honestly though, it may have come up eventually, they usually do in my case. |

Humm guess those things don't even bother me at times I will see someone from the past that was friends with my ex. And they will say or I will say your/I'm Jimmy's ex no bigger just helps jog the memory at times.....if they happen to know the ex if not then it is not really needed to be said..... But still would not bother me for the one that said it did know us both just a figure of speech the way I see it...... I let the little things roll of my back and I don't let stuff like that worry me...

No, the guy did not know the ex.
@ Mikey - This ex would be shot on sight, if he came anywhere near me. That was, unfortunately, a bad memory, especially at the end. I can't say as I would be comfortable even attempting to trust him, even all these years later. The family has access to the paperwork and threats he passed along, and know to start with that with the police should anything suspicious happen to me. @ Fade - You're right. And as much as I enjoyed that circle, at the time, I realize now that it's not the comfort it was then. I've moved on, and apparently, they haven't or don't want to, sadly. I'm finding many circles I thought meant something, don't mean much anymore. I can see being linked for a year or so, but not strapped with the label the rest of your life. We are all far more then who we were with or what we did back then. |

Put your pecker in a pickle slicer and let the sweat bead up on your forehead..........then you will know what it was like to live with that one. Good times........... Nahh that's alright.. I like it better when my pickle does the slicing..
