Upon checking my mail, I had a VERIFY YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS pop up.
Even after clicking it to do so, it isn't doing anything. I checked the spam mail and nothing there either.
Is this a bug?

Hi, Mystique42. At this time, the measure appears to be working as intended. The key is to make sure that you are using a valid email account and that our emails are not blocked from it. Have you been having any trouble receiving Mingle2 notification emails of late?

waving Charles it is me again,i got the same pop up but i try to put n my new email address the one u sent my newpassword that someone had changed to and it tell's me the all ready have someone with that email well ya me so how can i get it changed?i dont want to give it to u on here unless u can delete it but i would like to get on

Hi, heartbreaker123. I just checked your account and it appears that you have gotten past that step. Let me know if this is inaccurate, though.

If you are still not able to update your email, you'll want to consider an old Mingle2 account which you may have registered to the email account in question (i.e., the one you want to use for this account).

flowerforyou Charles i got it going but it still shows old email addy,but then i click on and it will let me n some time's so i was not able to confirm cause nothing was sent to my reg mail.Suzanne

I got the "verify" email address too and I am afraid to click it because I don't want a virus or a bot.

Are you sure this is legit???

heartbreaker123, if you clicked the UPDATE & SEND ME A EMAIL button on the 'Verify Your Email Address' page and you did not receive a confirmation email, then you need to make sure that our domain is allowed in your email settings.

MelodyGirl, it is definitely legitimate.

Hey mods... just letting you know it looks kinda unprofessional that the confirm email button says: "Send A Email"... it should say "Send An Email" or "Send Email".

This is nuts. I cannot get out of the verify e-mail loop.
This is the second time this has happened.
My address is correct. I do not want any notices from Mingle.
I am not receiving the verification e-mail.
I cannot get into my mingle mail.

Once your email has been verified, motowndowntown, you will not have to accept any additional Mingle2 emails. You can still opt out all site emails, once this step has been taken.

We are rolling this out gradually (we removed it a couple weeks ago in order to fine tune it) to make sure that more members are legitimate and so that we'll have another avenue to get in touch with a member if there is an unseen scenario where it is crucial.

Have you clicked the link in the tip below? You'll find it right under the verification screen.

If you do not receive a verification email within a few minutes, please check your "spam", "bulk", or "junk" folder. How?

Been checking my spam junk folder. Nothing there.
My addy is correct. I do not receive anything from mingle.
I am in a constant loop and cannot check my mail.
Tried the "tips" they didn't work. Added noreply mingle to my address book. Still no mail from Mingle.

I have the same verification email problem. Not captured in any filters. in the same loop. re-entered my email addy, which was correct, and still no good. frustrated

charles, I don't think your server is sending out the emails....I haven't gotten any for weeks and have had the notify box checked...never cared until I cannot get into email tonight

The servers are definitely sending out the emails. We have verified thousands per day over the last few days. Now, since we are making it mandatory, there is simply no way to put it off. We'll continue to look for potential pitfalls, of course.
