i'm not leaving verizon, i just wont buy the phone from them. i have had the same number since 93 (alltel at the time) and i don't want to change now...anyway they have me locked in till 2012...or when the world ends, which ever comes first! if you ever decide to leave and want to keep your number, you can do so as long as you don't want another area code. it's called porting, it's a federal requirement that they be able to do it. you can take a land line and make it a cell phone too i know, but i am pretty much lock in for the next two years due to the fact that i allowed my niece and her deadbeat boyfriend on to my plan. uuugghhh!!! the curse of not being able to say no... |

Well now I'm really pissed...
I broke down and bought a new phone about a weekago. Settled for one that was just ok because they didn't have anything I really wanted. Left the damn thing at Joy's. Now in trying to sort things out and get a phone number transfered back to my old phone till I can get the new one back and I find out that this weekend they released one of the phones I really like... DAMN! |

You should be able to return it and get a new one Davey, sometimes they charge a small restocking fee... verizon charges $35

. Just talked to a friend who is on Boost/Nextel who wants to switch to Boost/Sprint, the nextel network barely works at her house but Sprint is really strong there. She may take the phone off my hands at cost. |
