Your significant other wants to come out and be with you for good, but you have to 'wait' for him/her???
 I am going through this now, and I HATE waiting!! I just wanted to see how many of you would wait???

I was doing this until he figured out that he just wasn't going to be able to because of his ex and kid situation. I broke it off because I would never ask him to be away from his son for my benefit. |

Hummm well since I don't have a significant other don't have to worry about that. If I did it would all depend on why they are having to wait before they move. If it is something simple they are dealing with then I would wait till they worked things out. Now if it was a more difficult situation that involved kids like msmyka had then I would have to do as she did and break it off.....
For things of that magnitude is really hard to make a relationship work if they are being pulled by wanting to be around their kids. Which is where they belong.... |

Never been in that situation, but it sounds like something wonderful to anticipate. As long as he'd be certain to arrive before my move to a nursing home
 , I think I'd wait.

I've learned to be patient with life, my children, most things. That's a tough one though...maybe time to pick up a new hobby
