This spill plays perfectly into 'The ONE's agenda to do away with any pretense he may have ever had for 'energy independence' ... he wants our prices for gas and oil to ratchet up to the 'European equivvalent' of $6 and $7/gal ... it's all about freedom of movement and travel - and control of it.

Looks to me that BP is more interested in finding a way to re capture the oil than stopping the leak....surely a large box over the pipe filled up with something could immediately stop the leak or at least slow it down. They are drilling a new well - so why not just block off the oil coming out of the pipe as best u can until the relief well is finished? Too simple?

All I know is that it would be nice if they would atleast give us some vaseline.

Unfortunately this is all smoke and mirrors. The leak will only be stopped when the pressure in the oil patch has dissipated and exhausted the supply. BP , the Feds nobody can stop this. The enviromental repercussions will be long lasting and tragic. It will take time to realize the damage from this and the powers that be will try to tell you it is under control but I hope you do your own research. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Huge-oil-plumes-found-under-apf-1551899726.html?x=0&sec=topStories&pos=2&asset=&ccode=

Don't know why that wouldn't work to stop or slow down the leak until it could be capped or repaired. |

My thought was, when they drilled a hole, they'd line it the hole with pipe. If that's the case, the inflated restrictor could be placed inside the pipe. They inflate pretty quick and the ribs would secure it to the walls of the pipe. |

Ok, the drawing did post....the more I read about this, I'm thinking BP is more interestred in saving the well than stopping the leak.

Someone needs to be responsible for this...and someone should go to jail for crimes against the planet.

Someone needs to be responsible for this...and someone should go to jail for crimes against the planet. They will. Just after all the Illegals are rounded up and deported. |
