is already setting in...daughter had her last day of school yesterday...she's off to college in the fall...but I don't see much of her now...off somewhere all the time...good thing I got Peccy or I wouldn't feel needed at all

My last brother moved out last month and my mom is going completely bonkers.

They do grow up don't they.... I don't have any children but, I know if I do...I'll cherish them a LOT when they're young because when they're older....won't see 'em. She'll always be there for you and love you angel...just like Peccy....glad to see you guys are still here. she loves you ..... Just don't forget that...

Shshsh I have one that I have to hunt down to see the other one I see on a regular bases. My son is one that even though he moved out he seems to have the biggest rubber band attached to his azz for he keeps bouncing back home........ I tell him he is my rubber band child.......So yeah I have not truly had my full freedom yet..... just from time to time...

awwww babe, you'll make it....their is a campground near there right? She'll miss Mom WAY more than she thinks, that I can betcha'!

My youngest daughter graduates HS in two weeks .. but I still have one more to go after that .. two more years.

But no Peccy .. at least not yet .. dang it all I can't imagine how that feels to have an empty nest. I love all the activity around here .. sigh.

My oldest was out of state for a few years and I hated it..he's been back a few months now, he'll be 26 on Monday. And I have 18 and 15 year old sons here.
I LOVE having them all together with me. They can can stay with me forever. They work, they help, they make me feel safe and loved. I hope they never leave..but I know one day they will.

got 3weeks off from school so am home now we all grown up now

I know how you are feeling.I felt the same way when my daughter left home.I went from , to now being and you will to.Just a matter of adjustement.

My older son went off to college in 2003 and has only been home for short periods of time since then. He move back from Texas 5 weeks ago and it has been great having him here. Now he is moving to NY for a job but at least he will be close enough to see once in awhile.

My younger son graduates High School in 3 weeks and will be going to college in the fall but he will also be close enough to see occasionally.

I think the fact that both are always running somewhere has started to get me accustomed to being alone. I have to admit that it is strange after all these years of not constantly being needed.

That's what's hard eh? I have 5 kids and I know each one has a place in life that I will be part of but my happiness and sense of purpose can not depend on them.

That's why having a S.O. is so important too ...
