ok...so how's my dad? he's doing mostly better. he was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, i do believe it got do his lymph nodes and such. well now, his lung is no longer collapsed and his tumor has shrunk. he is not 100 percent, but he doesn't think he ever will be.
i recently returned back to va/md. this time because of my grandfather. i was told he might have brain, lung, and cancer in his spine. turns out it was just 2 of the 3, no brain cancer. his backbone is deteriorating and they've done some stuff to help that. the man use to be at least 6'3" and now he's nearly as short as i am at 5'4". his cancer, it's stage 4. i don't have high hopes for him, he's 87 with cancer, that can't be good. his doctors however are doing all they can and even doing a bit of fibbing on forms so he can get some pills that insurance would probably not allow him without doing so. so, he's getting the best possible treatment he can. all in all, not a great sistuation. he'll pass, then i'm sure my grandmother will. like my brother, i too thought she'd be the first to go. her health has always been worse. i guess it's just because he was being a stubborn old man and thought his back pain was due to aging. at one point, that man drove himself to the hospital after a heart attack so he wouldn't worry my grandmother |

the visit was a bit depressing. if it wasn't that, i also saw an aunt and uncle. the aunt had cancer removed from her right wrist and had some 50 stitches in it's place. the uncle, who is normally always positive and such, he was depressed and killed my mood pretty bad
