I sit and enjoy the pastries and coffee offered by the volunteers.
My friend will be out shortly, (the changing of the clothes takes longer than the treatment). After short pleasantries with the woman who takes pride in keeping the coffee and snacks in nice order I don't even have time to finish the coffee. My friend comes out with the opened back gown replaced by her familiar clothes. It is her smile I notice as I pick up my coffee and head out the door to take her back to her home. This is her last day of teatment.....and while walking across the parking lot with her I feel the sunshine bathe my body and I wonder how many more days of sunshine will there be left for my friend. |

It sounds real because it happened last friday. She is my friend Mary and when her time comes, she will be greatly missed by our circle of friends. But we will take care of her for as long as we can.

the friendship that one tends to show
all around shows the tender heart one tends to have as keeping there mind off someone that has a illness where just spending the days together without thinking of a deep loss as the beauty of the yellow flower shows the deepest friendship of them all as the yellow flower also represent love and passsion of desire so whatever happen dont cry and think of all the memories one had shared as you will have her in spirit watching and guiding you all the way |
