Fricking rocked!! Loved it! Great action, great humor, and I didn't get any of the "complaints" that I read about on it.

I waited in line for 1 hour to watch it, cuz I loved the first Iron Man so much and I wanted good seats... I am such a nerd...lol
Yea, I Iron Man 2 too. It was definitely action packed. It was wayyy better than the new Nightmare on Elmstreet which I also watched this weekend.

I also enjoyed Iron Man 2, but I was def. let down. Maybe my expectations were so high after the first (which was awesome!) but the dialogue was dry and awkward at times. The action/graphics, as expected, were amazing... it just felt a bit choppy in its overall flow. I'm glad I saw it in theaters for the sound and overall experience. But in hindsight, I wouldn't mind just renting it/redboxing it for a much cheaper price.

Really looking forward to Robin Hood also and Prince of Persia.

All I gotta say is that I wanna be (or do) Tony Stark. It's totally irrational being that he's a fictional character and all...but just wow.

Okay, it was not like the first one. The first one set it all on the ground bringing it to a modern setting and all and RDJr killed that whole Stark-ness. I think they hit gold with him, no one else will ever be Tony. This movie was kinda slower as action goes but it was more about how all the people related and taking it where it's gonna go. I thought it was awesome really though.

Mickey Rourke was a wicked bad guy though. That first scene (it's in the trailer so no spoilers) where he walks out onto the race track just blew me away. Frickin' Scarlett was pretty hot and azz kicking, and the shoes... I love that girl, she's so sweet but packs a chainsaw. Gwen was just as Pepper as she could be really. So she was a bit whiny and pouty but if he was my boss/love-of-my-life I'd be pulling my hair out too (Aww and they finally kiss! I know, but I am a girl!.

Oh! I forgot about Justin Hammer. The Hammer!!! Sam Rockwell made me laugh, that dude is so Stark's rival. Such an awkward spaz. He had one line that nearly made me cry (I'll try and remember it, or quickly Google it).

So in my humble opinion this movie is Da Bomb. I'd say more than well worth $10 and 2hrs and 5minutes of your time. Between the actors being great, the storyline was great, the explosions were big and awesome, awesome soundtrack, and RDJr on his own I can only think of one thing wrong with this whole movie...

Finally got a chance to watch Iron Man 2 today. Let me start off by saying that while I don't feel part 2 is better than the first, and honestly it is just a good sequel.

Yes, Downey Jr. is Stark, and no one else could have played this role like he has done. He simply owns this role. He and Paltrow have great chemistry together. Yes, Johanssen is frickin hot. Yes, Rockwell is fricking hilarious as Hammer.

But Mickey Rourke, in the limited role he had, owned this movie. Ever since he ressurected his career with Sin City, Rourke has proven that his past is just that...his past. The guy can frickin deliver on screen, and what amazed me most was how he did it even with the limited amount of dialogue he had. His actions spoke loudly, and he WAS the bad guy Ivan Vanko. The race track scene is his and he totally has command of this character. But even when he and Downey are in the prison scene, Rourke totally owns it with just how cool he plays Ivan.

And, while I love Don Cheadle (really a fav of mine), he just felt out of place taking over for Terrence Howard as Rhodes.

The soundtrack (AC/DC) was kick azz, and the action was great as well. And, this is a movie worth spending your hard earned money to watch and enjoy on the big screen. I just expected more from it.

I heard lots of complaints about this movie before I went to see it, but I really liked it. Lots of action, lots of fun. Great cast.

Let me also add that Justin Theroux, who wrote Iron Man 2, is this generations Shane Black. Many of you probably don't know who Shane Black is (I bet Torgo does, lol) but he is the guy who wrote Lethal Weapon and Long Kiss Goodnight (regarded as the best action script of all time). Anyways, Theroux wrote Tropic Thunder (which was hilarious) and he did a great job with Iron Man 2. If you see his name tied to any movie from here on out, you will want to see it.

Have you seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? Black directed it, and Downey, Jr. stars. It's damn awesome. So that's my segue into Iron Man 2, lol. I'm on the fence which one I liked better, but regardless, it was great fun. Is it just me, or was the dialogue even more snappy and hilarious in the sequel? Maybe it's just been a while since I watched the first one. But yea, Sam Rockwell was hilarious (the scene where he's golfing is pure gold), I think Mickey Rourke did the right thing by not going over-the-top with his performance. It was actually pretty subtle. The one thing I hated was when Scarlett was kung-fuing people left and right. It's not believable, sorry. Yes, she's hot in her latex/leather/whatever suit, but if all she has to do is leg-sweep a guy to take him out, why did it take Jon Favreau 10 minutes to brutally punch a guy into submission? Oh, well, the movie was good stuff.

Oh yeah. I love Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Downey and Val Kilmer were hilarious in that movie. Black also wrote The Last Boy Scout (love that movie) and I do remember him as Hawkins from Predator.

Anyways, back to Theroux. This guy has what Black has, which is a the pulse of writing a good action comedy film. Funny thing is that Theroux was the Irish bad guy from Charlie Angels: Full Throttle and was also in the Miami Vice movie. But he is making a name for himself as a writer.

Saw it today.

I would highly recommend it to anybody that enjoyed the first one and think that it is about as good, give or take.

To put it another way I already can't wait for Iron Man 3 now.

Definitely would have liked to see Terrence Howard reprise his role, but Cheadle is pretty apt.

Rourke is amazing. He really made the film, in my opinion.

Scarlet is beyond hot. Really. It's distracting. I was kinda questioning whether or not it's worth the broken arm to have her do that spinning, wrap-around jiu-jitsu move she does in the film.

Oh, and Prince of Persia was lame. Especially 15 minutes after I saw Iron Man 2.
