My dad listened to Twitty, Merle Hagard, Hank Jr and Sr. Twitty was the original country pimp. laugh
ya, not really into the glitz of the old timers so much - I'm more of a folk and Bluegrass fan and some of the newer songsters - some psychobilly/rockabilly - altho I remember seeing Earl Scruggs & Lester Flatts, and always been fascinated by the steel guitar - and I love fiddle - love bands like Dixie Chicks, Sugarland, Antebellum, Alison Krauss & Union Station - like I said more Hillbilly Blues and country swing than country crooners - love Dwight

Grew up with both of them!! Louvin Brothers, Hank williams, Patsy Kline,Wille Nelson and conway Twitty to name a few, and of course George Jones!!
