Crime Suppression sweeps or arresting illegal immigrants for violating the laws of this country? Being P/C does not change the fact that Sheriff Joe is actually enforcing the laws that are already on the books. Whether people agree with his methods or not, he at least making a difference in how the laws are enforced and holding the people who break the accountable for thier own actions.

Whether people agree with his methods or not, he at least making a difference in how the laws are enforced and holding the people who break the accountable for thier own actions. it is his job to enforce laws,, and its good he does,, I agree whats not so good is if he is using his authority for vengeance as WELL As law enforcement one thing I like about Farrakhan is that he promotes family responsibility and community pride and involvement and thats a good thing,,,BUT it doesnt erase his equal promotion of racism and seperatism,,,,,People are complex, I am sure Joe has many professional attributes,, but in the political arena, those are often eradicated by poor professional perception,,,, |

Vengence? Where does that come into play here? Arresting people for breaking the law is not vengence. Making jail time a punishment, as it was intended, isn't either. All Sheriff Joe is doing is ensuring those who break the law are being held acountable for doing so.

Vengence? Where does that come into play here? Arresting people for breaking the law is not vengence. Making jail time a punishment, as it was intended, isn't either. All Sheriff Joe is doing is ensuring those who break the law are being held acountable for doing so. I think I should restate my original point here, the topic was brought up that this sheriff should run for office and would beat OBAma,,,,my point was the type of controversy he has around him would make it unlikely he would have a chance to win just as much as it would have killed OBamas chances if he were under FBI investigation for abuse of power,,, there is currently an FBI investigation going on into the possibility that this sheriff was having people picked up for various unfounded charges and harassing them AFTER they spoke out about him publicly.(not to mention the lawsuits and money involved in defending himself,, wasnt that the reason Palin gave up?).....whether proven true or not(just like the controversy about OBamas citizenship or ties to terrorists) the mere PRESENCE of such a conspiracy usually greatly diminishes someones chance to get into the highest office in the land,,, |
