Oh mighty Satan,
Oh magnificent Odin, Let the lightning play about this sword, And in thunderous rapture, Let my voice pierce the hearts of men. Oh let the prophets extinguished be, For their flames are old and choked. Now is our time, Now is our age. Come forth brave men, That we might conquer, And in this war shall such happiness bring, Unto the end of things. In my heart I will carry, All you slain men, And be remembered, With warmth and joy, Unto my dying day, And troubled grave. I wipe my face, With the entrails of our enemies, And spit upon the lies, That you men have endured. So much sorrow, So much pain, All reckoned to nought, By the Christian sword. Come forth you brave men, I will honour you, And never let be forgot, You're families, And kith and kin. |
