Confront. Don't just accept lousy, vague answers. Question and confront them about it, and accept nothing less than a detailed reason why this person is so reluctant. If you're not buyin' what they're shovelin' then force the issue to go to their place, or you don't see them anymore. You could just quit without doing that, but where's the fun in doing that? Why not make them sweat under the lights a little first?
