This has happened to me. Be very careful while trying to light a propane grill while holding an umbrella over it. Apparently the propane gas gets trapped under the umbrella. My umbrella ended up in the alley and I lost my eyelashes.......

My umbrella ended up in the alley and I lost my eyelashes....... I had mine similar to your experience. Tried to light a wood stove with Zippo lighter fuel. Yeah..it did light up quite well..with a bang so big, that my brother's cat jumped out out the window on the 2nd floor and my ear was ringing for a good half hour. |

I'm sorry, it's gotta be a guy thing. LMAO! My brother singed his arm and eyebrows when he lit the fireplace this winter. Let the propane go to long before lighting it. Dad has issues with the gasoline and burn piles. It likes to follow him back to the can. I can do just fine with the gas, however. Nice purty rolling fireball! Mmmmm, fire. |

Had one of those big old gas stoves do that to me once, trying to light the oven, gas on a hair too long, eyelashes and brows- they're called flash burns.
