This has happened to me. Be very careful while trying to light a propane grill while holding an umbrella over it. Apparently the propane gas gets trapped under the umbrella. My umbrella ended up in the alley and I lost my eyelashes....... 
 YOUR a lucky man....it could have been worth,,,,,,YOU could have TRIED THAT,,,in a TENT!!!
OH,,,just another WARNING HERE,,,lol NEVER let the kiddies spray silly string all over each other at the SAME TIME you have candles lit,,,,  YEP,,,
That shizt,,,goes POOF,,,in a very BIG WAY,,but as soon as it goes,,POOF,,,its all over,,,BUT,,,boy,,,the look on everyones faces THAT was at a Birthday party for my then,,ten year old son.....scared the poop out of me and my ex,,lol
