Jesus might well be a stolen myth from other cultures actually.

There was a very similar messiah like him, who claimed to be the son of
god and did all those miracles which Jesus did... "Apollonius" of
Tyanna.

I have no idea if Jesus was Pagan or Jewish.

I do know that he was not a Christian.

Wrong denomination, wrong "spiritual event." In the 80's, a group of
my father's friends left the SDA church to join a group known as the
D-A-V-I-D-I-A-N-S, who believed that they were supposed to take
possession of Jerusalem (not be raptured away) and from there create
"Heaven" on earth; they sold their land and put everything in the hands
of their fearless leader... too bad it was a scam, eh?

Yes, there are still Davidians around, one of them was my mechanic in SC
and his brother was one of my enforcers. Two of them were in a band
that I was part of... I worked for one whose brother was an SDA and a
Davidian lady ran a store that we frequented.

Those were the friendly ones...

Some of them blamed the SDA's "disbelief" in the cause for their failure
to launch. There were even death threats and at least one local church
(Westminster, SC) had a restraining order taken out... a matter of
public record, unlike your unfounded smear.

Stupid, sir? More than some and less than others. Probably no more
than the "rennaisance men" who believed the earth was flat, tomatoes
were poisonous and the heart was the center of thought.

I have a bit of info on the Egyptian and Babylonian practices/beliefs
that were absorbed by Christianity through the Roman geopolitical

Jesus was and is God the Son...One of the Holy Trinity. Was He a
pagan?...define pagan...He was of the lineage of David, so He was a Jew,
but He hated the Jewish 'religion'. He was and is Christ the Messiah and
He founded His Church : "And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter,
and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall
not prevail against it".
St. Matthew 16:18.

Sometimes I so adore you. I must agree, some things are just not
worth trying to fix.

I just feel sorry for all the sad lookin church people I see at lunch
every Sunday. And the ones I see at work who wont say goodmorning to me
because they dont approve of me.
