I was actually supposed to be given up for adoption-the papers were drawn up and everything-my Mom couldn't sign them after she had me.Since I wasn't, she named me after Stephanie Powers (another red-head coincidentally).I don't think there was ever a boys name picked out-since naming me wasn't ever thought of before I was born.

Actually have no clue if a boys name was picked out or not actually my aunt named me as I was told.
 But now my ex, when my son was born wanted to make him a Jr. and give him his name Clarence James..........  Hell he did not even like the name himself and went by Jimmy. No way was I going to name him that so we settled on Beau James...... at least he got his middle name. But with both of mine I knew if it was a boy or girl and only picked out the names for one....

If I had been a daughter, I would have been named "jackie" after Jackie Kennedy. My mom always loved the Kennedy family.
