Since I've been exploring Texas via restaurants, I thought it might be fun to share the places here...sort of a mini-travel guide! Post your favorites and what you eat/ate there!
I'll start with Alamo Springs Cafe near Luckenbach, TX. "Named One of Top Burgers in Texas! August 2009 Texas Monthly magazine ranked our green chile cheeseburger (with grilled onions and avocado) as one of the top burgers in Texas and featured it on the front cover!" http://www.alamospringscafe.com/ This was super delicious! |

Luling City Market in Luling, TX for BBQ.

It was a GREAT burger joint in Seabrook; best iced tea I've ever had "out". Hamburgers by Gourmet in Houston, also ... Think it's on Kirby? Of course, Goode Company ... best bar.b.q and pecan pie ... Kirby, again Also in Houston: Sammy's Lebanese on Richmond in SW, near Galleria area ... India's also off Richmond and Kirby, more Montrose area ... Taj Mahal on I-45, Almeda exit, as I recall ... |

Hummmmmmmmmm my down fall is Mexican Food one of the places I like to go is real close to home..... El Paseo Mexican Restaurant I have yet to have any thing there I did not like. And to top it off they have great Margaritas as well.
