I'll be happy when my son realizes that. His son was killed 4 yrs ago and he can tell you exactly how many days it has been. He's (my son)better now in some ways, but still has a long way to go before the healing is done.

I never had that chance to hold him and get attached. I still wonder at times how his life would of been. As it was it took me awhile to get to where im at. My heart goes out to you and your son, I can't imagine what he's going through

My heart goes out to you and your son, I can't imagine what he's going through Thank you Tim...Austin was 16 at the time. It was and is still hard for us. I actually started thinking of him today on my way home and the tears came. It is so much harder on Eddie because he was a stay at home dad for so long, untill their divorce, then when Austin was 12 his mon died of cancer and the boys came to live full time with Eddie..then 6 months after Austin died, Eddie was diagnosed with cancer. His other son Josh was scared to death..he thought he was going to lose everyone! But things are getting better. Josh has been offered two scholarships for his acting abilities, and Eddie's in remission..so life is GOOD!

Wow ..thats great viv!! You must be very proud Oh yes...bursting buttons! He is just a junior..so he has another year to go, then he'll decide witch college he wants to go to..Texas Tech has already offered scholarships for the past two years.

Glad you are feeling better Jayne. As for myself well...Lets just say I have my moments.Had to pack up all his stuff today ,that was a bit hard.
