FYI EVERYONE- There's a site called spokeo.com and it's an online phone book that has a picture of your house, credit score, profession, age, how many people live in the house. Remove yourself by the Privacy button on the bottom right. (passing along, scary stuff!) I personally checked it out and it is really there!!

I think it triggers Myspace, and Facebook users... All my friends, as well as myself are on there. A friend of mine subscribed just to see... It's got everything you could imagine about people on there. All you really need is the full legal name to find yourself.

I'm not there. Tried searches with my name, email, phone, etc... Even tried my maiden name and they have phony pics and phony info. Update-however, I am not a Facebook or Myspace user.

They have my old address in IL, and a picture of mainstreet Elwood, but no one would know my house because the little pin they have on the map is about 2 blocks east of the actual house where I used to live.
They have bupkis on me down here, cuz I have a cell phone and magic jack. |

I personally checked it out and it is really there!! i found mine in 2 differnt places whats funny is that they have my age on one being in my late 50s(LOL) and the other in my 40s which is correct |

They have every pic I ever put on the internet... My current credit score... Where I work, as well as everywhere I ever worked... Everyone in my family... My cellular number. The only thing they messed up, was my current address. It's about three address old.

But when I type in my email addy, it shows pictures that I have posted on my profile page, and it has replies that I've made to stories on yahoo.
If I type in my email addy or my nym here(Mingle) on yahoo, it also shows posts that I've made in chatrooms, and posts that I've made here on Mingle. |

My address and home phone number is there., but no pictures. It shows my age and all kinds of stuff about the area I live in.

It has a lot of incorrect information about me, but there's also a lot of stuff that's too close for comfort. I really don't like having that much available with a few keystrokes. In my tiny universe, this comes close to 'invasion of privacy'. I've already sent this out to my address book contacts.
