you can skate with me any day....just no inline skates.. Funny story...I bought my son some inline skates probably about three years ago. Yah, because the dog devoured them a short time later so that's about right. But prior to the feast, I offered to go skating with him. He sarcastically spouts "You don't have any skates." I reply confidently "Sure I do!" and go in my bedroom and strap on these twenty year old white monstrosities with a faded yellow stopper and 4 very well worn down wheels. I come rolling out, grinning like a Cheshire cat. He wouldn't leave the house with me! |

Ms. Wright, is it really skating or chosing the path of least resistance. Sometimes it's not a choice, it just is. Sometimes life is content, sometimes a struggle. It teaches us to appreciate our blessings whether given or earned. Excellent points Chrissy! I guess I see it as skating because the effort I'm going to need to exert to succeed will be so much less than what I've been putting in thus far. You're completely right about having to play the hand we're dealt, so I have to look at it like that. I can't control which doors life puts in front of me, I can only decide which one to walk through and make the most of it from there on out. I'll try to enjoy my path of least resistance and look at is as a gift. Thanks for the wise words. Anytime Mswright. Some of the best lessons are the hardest learned I've found. Thank God I am still learning. |

I concur whole heartedly! Wise words Bedlum. I have no regrets about the many struggles I've endured, nor do I dread the inevitable ones coming my way. That's life, as they say, in all its glory. Gotta take the bad with the good. |
