OMG, if there's anything I loath more it's attention seekers, primarily women who act clueless or like a victim...drives me crazy and embarrasses me for the entire female population!! You people know the type...this scenario..

oh don't get me wrong, I love to flirt, but my God...this "fishing" (as you put it) is pathetic and men seem to fall hook line and sinker for it. Now someone will say...oh you're just jealous...WRONG!! I was raised by very self confident parents who knew who they were and praised us for our accomplishments. I actually say thank you and switch the topic unless I'm interested. ... guess I'm just blunt! My friends can say one thing about me...you never have to wonder what she's thinking...she's bold enough to say it! LOL

Nope don't bother me what ever works for them but it does not say much for the one that is giving them all the false attention as well. So the way I look at it they deserve one another if that is what makes them happy so be it..

I get uncomfortable when someone constantly compliments me on my looks. Especially since none of us can really help how we look, other than putting on makeup and doing our hair or whatever. But you're either naturally pretty or you're not, and I feel stupid saying, "oh thanks for saying I'm hot" as if I made myself. Blechhhh....

But I do agree about women who constantly fish for compliments and act surprised when they get them- or offended when they don't. It goes for men, too. I've encountered men who are "conventionally attractive" and they eat up the attention as if it's their just due. Kind of sad really. I'd rather be called smart instead of beautiful, but I'm weird like that.
