Topic: Memory to Fallen Brothers | |
---|---|
I look back to the days of yester year, when we were young, and strong with not one ounce of fear. I watched all you boys turn to men; the mere weak mortals become heroic gods in the profession of the chosen. Many have fallen, and moved on to Fiddlers Greene. I can picture all of you sitting at the bar, waiting to fill your empty canteen. I can see your medals pinned upon your chest, some of Honor, others of bravery, neatly aligned below that coveted rangers crest. I can see them all very keen, glistening in the sun ever so sheen. Have your drink my brothers in arms; drink it deep and long for it is this simple mans wish that the lord grants all of you all his bountiful charms. May you all have found your peace and much needed serenity, for your deeds are now done. Now I hope you can share in quiet Harmony. I give my word to each of you, that they will be passed down through the ages. The day will come my strong horrifically brave soldiers. That my canteen will be punched and I will make my way to that Kanteen, where we can drink reminisce to those days of yester year. When we were young, and strong with not one ounce of fear. Dedicated to the men that have fought and served with me, before me and after me |
