learn tolerance..  simple..
everyone has some form of addiction to something...drink,smoke,sex,chocolate,cafiene, tannin, etc etc etc I will take drink, smoke, sex and chocolate for $1000.00 Alex.

Yes, it's just switching the focus. Being prepared on what you're going to switch to avoids alot of the denial. It's a tough call, non judging others, you've really hit it on the mark Di. |

I've seen some really interesting profiles here but, all too often, the person smokes either occasionally or often. I have essentially no tolerance for cigarette smoke. Even days-old residue in clothing can make me feel ill. I believe that less than one in five US adults smoke, so smokers seem to be overrepresented on mingle2. I'm wondering if there is a cofactor worthy of a PhD dissertation! some ideas why: - The time when it supposed to be having fun with someone is spent front of the computer on mingle, since 99% of the people here are single but I could be wrong. -There isn't a girlfriend or a boyfriend to complain about the smoke. - Cigarettes raises blood pressure and act like caffeine and keeps up the night owls writing stuff on facebook and mingle, since there isn't anyone saying "Hon, come to bed". |

I've smoked off and on since I was 15....
I started again....from stress.... If I don't smoke around anyone, which I don't...can't kill anyone but me....yikes I don't drink....I don't like hangovers...those days r over...and if I did drink and possibly drive....I could kill someone... a shot of whiskey or scotch sounds good though.....nah....lol Back to smoking..I quit before and I will quit again...and know that I can never pick up a cig again... I don't want lung problems....my brother has stage 4 ephyzyma....not good....I'm very sad.... |

You're welcome. I just get tired of hearing people complain. People use cell phones in restaurants and annoy everyone. Why isn't there a law that makes all cellphone users leave the restaurant and go stand in a corner outside in the cold to make their call?
