You know, I agree with you. At this point in my life, I would live with that significant other that I have yet to meet and not care if we ever get married. It's not important to me anymore.

My marriage was so short I don't feel like I've ever been married..I'd like to do it someday.

What financial gains?! I am very much worse off financially for having been married! Just saying..... Yes...I didn't do so well myself...but for instance, my sister just got married last year...for health insurance

If you practice certain religions it is forbidden to have sex outside of marriage. That's what I meant. But if don't hold to any of those religious beliefs I don't see any reason to get married.

I certainly hope so. This is my life plan. I will NEVER get married again but do hope to find someone that I can't live without to spend the rest of my life with.
And please, no NEVER is a long time comments. Some people really do know what they want and don't want.
