Well, apparently the guy who runs eHarmony is a religious nutjob and
basically only wants devout Christian types on his site.

I saw a forum on another site where a guy was complaining that eHarmony
wouldn't let him join because he's gay.

Interesting thing, here we have computers and cable TV and flying cars
(almost), and Neil is boldly marching his website forward into the 19th
century.

I guess gay people and atheists can be ignored because they won't be
making new little Christians who can put money in future collection
plates....

Gypsy -- Well, that's like a 467-page explanation. I had a really bad
marriage (mother-in-law hired people to murder me after I dumped my wife
because she was using drugs), found the PERFECT girl after that -- which
was ruined by interference from the same in-laws and other family
members -- I mean, 87 bad relationships and 1 good one --

I learned that I needed to be a lot more selective....

I put "looking for friends" in the profile because I'm not entirely sure
I'm over the one good one yet (even though it's been a year and a half).
Some days I am, some days I'm not. I don't want to rush into anything.
One thing I've learned, it's better to be alone than to be with the
wrong person.

But if someone showed up who completely bowled me over, you never know.
I want to be open to viable options, you know?
