Unconditional love, understanding, and forgiveness when needed... Lost all that today, guess the unconditional part wasn't so much....ok though - it should have ended when I moved 700 miles away... As for gifts we need or give I think they change with our life's circumstances, sometimes it is love, other times a swift kick in the behind...what ever gets us though or helps those in our lives to get through...and then of course celebrating happiness, happy times. The greatest gift I was given during and after my husband's dying was that either my best friend or my mom were always available, truly this was amazing as they do have lives...and never knew when I would call - so a great gift is to just be there!
