suffering and evil are pretty subjective terms,, but YES , I would create them with the ability to choose for themself their actions and words,,,,,

MsHarmony...I didn't ask if you would give then "Free Choice" I asked if you were God would you create evil and suffering

God created us with the ability to sin,,,some call that sin evil and sometimes that evil leads to what some call suffering,,,

To create man and choice without 'evil' or 'suffering' would be to create paradise,, which He will also do some day

In the meantime,, the answer is still yes, i would create man just as he did,, with the capacity for evil or good and with the capacity to create pleasure or suffering,,,

I'm pretty sure if the napkin manufacturers were God they would be no litter......what would be the purpose.... but anyway

so you would create and allow pain suffering and evil among your creations because to you it would be in the same realm as litter ....interesting ....

so addicted to the evil and suffering of others that you can't think beyond it enough to use your omniscience to not allow it ...and people wonder why Satan didn't want to serve God or Man

I am addicted to nothing and I am not exempt from anything that others go through(including evil and suffering) so assuming an indifference to the suffering of 'others' is less than honest in assessing what suffering is and who it affects (all of us)

to not allow evil would be to not allow good,,,,they are the balance of each other,, there isnt the conscious knowledge of one without the knowledge of the other,,,,which is why I prefer BALANCE and see where it is essential to health and wellness...

If the religious believed in the balance of good and evil they would not try to stop evil and yet that is supposedly their whole job. They fail at it miserably because they are the cause of alot of evil but they believe they are the fighters of evil.

So the religious want no balance and all good, well their ideal of good which ain't so great.

There will come a time with no illness and suffering,, but it wont be man that makes that time happen,,,,

in the meantime, the balance of things is what helps us grow and learn even while we learn to prefer good over 'evil' and health over 'sickness' , we gain knowledge of what makes those things such blessings by actually experiencing some of the alternatives

Yes, I am for a balance of things as a way to learn appreciation and humility,,but I am also for promoting the positive side of that balance ,,,,

aren't you supposed to be omnipotent ...this mean there is nothing that you can't do...you have true "Free Will" ...so why can't you just create good and not evil or suffering...all I see is you making up reasons to allow evil and suffering

to each their own perception,,,, good and evil are matters of conscience,,,and conscience is the eye of our soul

if one held a flower they couldnt see,,,then they couldnt see its beauty,,,but if one is holding a flower they can SEE, the beauty is apparent because of the CONTRAST against other things,,,,our SIGHT allows us to experience things through contrasting and comparing them to others,,,it how we evolve and grow in life

when we no longer need to evolve,,,I believe God will have succeeded in eradicating evil and suffering,,,but not before...

If I were a god I would want other gods like me to live with me equally. I would search them out. So I would not create a science project to torture and abuse.

good and evil is a matter not of conscience but of the God...you're doing just like God and blaming everything on your creations instead of accepting responsibility for what you yourself have created

if I'm wrong then just say that you as God omnipotent will no longer allow evil and suffering ....come on "MsHarmony" ...have a heart

oh but i am god....and so is everyone......
btw....the original definition of sin is..doing anything that goes against a persons sense of self.......in other words if it goes against your conscious....thats why there is such a wide range of ideas about what is sin and what isnt....everyone conscious is different...

I would definitely stop this god from doing the evil he does and give man REAL free will:wink: laugh

And shock them with what real self responsibility looks like since religion robs them of that too along with a lot of other things.

Oh but you aren't God, nor am I or anything other person on this earth. God is just that, God. What you just said would be like me saying i am bedlum.... and so is everyone...

yes very true about the sinning. But if you follow after God your conscience is pure and when you do something you aren't suppose to you feel wrong about doing as such. As a christian i know what not to do, and my conscence tells me not to do as such when i'm doing something sinful.

lol God does no evil. And man does have free will. Regardless if God tells us to do or not to do something, we still have the free will to either do or not do. We are not puppets on strings being made to do what we do in our lives.
