Birds fall dead from the sky...

It was like a grisly scene from a horror film.

On Sunday night, over a quiet Somerset house, scores of swooping starlings tumbled out of the sky and fell, dead, into a single front garden.

Covering an area 12ft across, more than 100 birds carpeted the garden, each with blood oozing from its beak and curled up claws.

Most had died, although some flapped lamely, clearly in pain until the RSPCA put them out of their misery.

well i thought the ufo thing at first... but now that you mention it; the chupacubra with a slingshot sounds better... let's roll w/that!

"Anglers venturing out today (Wednesday 1-13-2010) discovered one of the worst fish kills in years. Dead fish by the hundreds were floating on the surface. These dead fish were found mostly in the Pithlacotee and Anclote Rivers near Tarpon Springs Florida.

According to local fishing guide, Capt. Brian Mathey who fishes this area the massive fish kill was primarily Snook up to 40 inches, along with jack crevalle, catfish, lady fish and mullet. The water was approximately 41 degrees that caused the kill. Some may revive, but it appears that it was a total kill with few if any survivors. Remember, pulling apparently dead snook off the water is an illegal act, so don't get caught with any snook, dead or alive."

I was just in Tarpon Springs about 2 weeks ago, and my Aunt was telling me about this grisly scene that took place there. There were literally thousands of dead fish floating up and down the bayous of the Anclote river. There is something seriously wrong going on, with the freakish cold weather in the South, the bird deaths, the fish kills, the manatees dying off, the earthquakes. We don't know what it is yet, but we should be on the lookout for the cause of this coincidence.
