As a kid, I always liked the rain. All the changes in seasons. Moving to the desert was especially hard, with rarely any difference for months, not even a cloud. Now, I have mixed emotions when the rain comes, which is so rare. I think now, what about them? who are out there in this pouring of water. Have you ever had a major shift like that, positive or negative? I'm not saying it's either but life shifts? How did you make peace with them? Hey Reg!!! I would gladly share/send you some of the rain we have, or swap for some warm sunny days! Hope you are feeling better today!   |

yeah,,,sometimes everything seems to happen all at once and it really gets to you.We all have days like that.

I'm talking about a major shift in conciousness. There's a touch of sadness with this new awakening, not being to be able to look at something in the same way again. And somehoe, wishing, it could go back to the old. There is such a thing as knowing 'too much' at times.
I understand, but have learned that if it's not in my control, (and most things aren't) I deal with it and move on. I'm not able to dwell on the past. I look forward to today, and the blessings that tomorrow will bring. I'm constantly, evolving and changing, so it seems I'm used to it. |

Little shifts...thats it. Life is all change, nothing is constant. Just when you think it's all settled, something happens. Life is.... Life..with all it's ups and downs..heartache and pain. Somedays it's more than you can bare..other days the sun is so bright it brings tears to your eyes. It's warm rays take the chill from your bones and from your mind. But alwys, there is a storm brewing ..all you csn do it ride it out. |

Sometimes when times are hard, it's like my mind tells me "It's always been hard, always going to be hard..thats just the way my life is"
However upon further reflection I have been blessed in so many ways 2.5 yrs ago when my marriage fell apart, I thought it was the end of the world.............now......not so bad. In fact my life is pretty good. I still live paycheck to paycheck, but its not all about money. I have my children who love me, a special someone in my life who I love and loves me, an interesting career, interests and activities. |

I don't like change either, but there's not much we can do about it. I guess I try to focus on the positive, if I can.

I don't like change either, but there's not much we can do about it. I guess I try to focus on the positive, if I can. Focus. Change. Money. We all go through these tough times, although sometimes it feels like the first. Know that must be growth, going through it is the hard stuff. Always am the slow learner, look back and say 'oh...thats why that happened'.

And you can't dance in the rain without getting a little mud on your shoes. Ya'll wear shoes out in the mud to dance?! And here I go play barefoot... |

Okay, it's about homeless people ebing out there in this downpour. I can't enjoy it anymore...thats the shift. Please don't say that they chose that life, not one that I know is not trying to make their life better. The fact that you care says a lot...someone out there feels your compassion! |

Change almost always teaches me to appreciate things more, especially life, and to do a better job living a worthwhile and fulfilling one isntead of wasting it on things I can do nothing about. It teaches me to NEVER get too comfortable in anything because NOTHING is promised.
