Today I was outside digging up some sod, going to level the ground out
and put up a pool, I had sunblock on but I must have sweated it off or
something, I got some sun burn and it hurts I don't have any of the
stuff I usually use, anyone have a home remedy for soothing sunburn?
I know it was posted here before but I can't find it.
Thanks

do you have an aloe plant? Take an ibprofen if you can.
I can't think of anything else as far a natural that might help.

If you have no aloe, cut a ripe tomato, and rub it on your burns...paw
paw, (papaya) is another good one..

<--------Fair skinned Aussie addicted to the sun..been burnt more times
than I have hot dinners...a warm shower, and a tomato works..it takes
the sting out..papaya has enzymes that help with the burns.

the aloe vera or yogurt--don't rub it in. Put on about 1/2 inch of it
and wrap up in a loose sheet.

Take a cool shower then put on some Vitamin E skin cream. Your burn will
fade within that day. Vitamin E repairs the skin and is good for you
too.

If you have any geraniums. You can take the leaf or the flower smash in
a food processor add a little ice water to make it smoothe. You can
apply it tonight. Then tomorrow, warm some in olive oil for 20 minutes
in a double boiler, let cool and apply. Girls geranium oil is one of the
wonders for the skin, it will make your skin youthful again. Repair any
damage, it is an old ancient remedy for any types of skin problems.
