before starting a relationship i believe you need to fix your own things wrong in your life... no one wants baggage... before you can commit to someone else you need to be able to take care of yourself.. agreed. Best Answer. |

Come on folks, he is in the "rate my profile" thread. I seriously don't think he wants you to give him life hints, just hints that would improve his profile. JMO Only because he was moved here. Personally, it was better off in the relationship section, because he is asking for advice. "...where am I going wrong?" We are simply stating our opinion on where he is going wrong. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs_OacEq2Sk&feature=PlayList&p=5455CA655D892146&index=28 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Usd4z9rxbys&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmY-CrgprEI |

Hey, Emotional One, women want someone who's strong in a relationship with a man. They may say something like "I can take care of myself and don't need anyone to take care of me," but by the same token, they want the man to be strong enough emotionally, physically and financially to take care of himself.
If I were you I would start by changing the nickname "Emotional One" to something that makes you sound less vulnerable. You will also have to become and appear strong and confident. For the record, there are a lot of guys, including me, who often feel lonely and insecure and wish we could find someone who would accept that and support us, nurture us until we're strong again and can stand on our own feet and be strong. But again, women want the man they are seeking to be strong. That's what attracts many women. So we have to get strong on our own first. Then when we're strong and stable, we can go on Mingle and find someone special. It's kind of a Catch 22 for me: Having a loving woman by my side would boost my confidence so much, but most women (in my experience) want a man who's already self-confident. ANYWAY, BEST OF LUCK TO YOU. |

no one wants baggage... Then why do they always ask for it at the airport? unrelated to this post but I must say, AngelArs, you are the most wonderful man I have ever read about on any date site. The woman who wins your heart will truly be loved. Sincerely, I wish you great success, Sincerely. |

Ok since you asked here is my opinion
First get yourself a better picture. One that you are dressed casual but nice. Its a first impression and if you are going to put a picture out there make it one that shows you at your best. Second rewrite your profile and take out the part that you are asking for someone to rescue you. No one wants someone who is needy. You have to put your strong positive qualities out there if that is what you want to attract. Most of all BE the person you hope to attract. And yes - find hobbies that you like and you will find mutual interest in those around you. Good luck! |

Ummm ... just a wild guess, but I'd think maybe they're turned off by the 'whiny baby boy' attitude ... you want someone to understand 'soft 'n sensitive' ... ? Call Jerry Springer ...
