Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees have already and will continue increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead.

This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change....... I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

THE BOSS

That's a good policy.drinker Pus Dem. Obominators to da' street!

A while back, if you had a Ron Paul sticker on your car or got caught with a copy of the Constitution, you got harassed big time

That happened a lot out here too. I can see why people did it though. Don't get me wrong, I have met Dr. Paul and he was a really nice guy. I talked to him for over 15 minutes. I like the guy personally and even like some of his policies, but most of them I don't like at all.

Well look at it this way, the money will go to the guy who does the most while taking the least amount of graft from big industry. So sooner or later due to the laws of economics we will have the cheapest government around. And all the young republican right wingers will be as happy as pigs in slop.

10 people got laid off yesterday at a friends company, they just came in and said leave.
I don't think jokes about people getting laid off are funny either. Sorry, too close to the bone for alot of people, even people on here, including myself while Bush was still in office and the crash hit. hmmm, how'd that start?

I just got laid off myself.

Your right the economy started to tank when President Bush was in office. It happened in 2006 when the Dems took control of the house and the senate and started massive spending. Then not to mention Obama spending more in the first 6 months in office then President Bush spent in over 8 years as President.......

Just saying...........

You're joking, right?

I just need to point out one thing about the OP. It was originally in the Jokes Forum until the debate started which got it moved to the Political Forums.

Even the righteous can be led astray.

Yea, but I value my integrity to much, it actually means something to me.

How can someone claim to be a person of integrity when they blatantly lie? The Dippic set records on spending....

"During his eight years in office, President Bush oversaw a large increase in government spending. In fact, President Bush increased government spending more than any of the six presidents preceding him, including LBJ. In his last term in office, President Bush increased discretionary outlays by an estimated 48.6 percent.

During his eight years in office, President Bush spent almost twice as much as his predecessor, President Clinton. Adjusted for inflation, in eight years, President Clinton increased the federal budget by 11 percent. In eight years, President Bush increased it by a whopping 104 percent.

One reason offered for these large budget increases is that entitlement programs are growing rapidly. Although Social Security and Medicare spending growth outpaced most other programs in the mid-1990s, spending growth in discretionary programs has accelerated in the last 15 years, especially during Bush’s two terms. Between FY2002 and FY2009, discretionary spending rose 96 percent."

We'll be paying for the mistakes of his presidency for many years to come.

Maybe we should have a "bad jokes" forum.
