Some people lie about almost anything becasue they are not comfortable in themselfs to admit the truth. When poeple do that for so long they start to think they are telling the truth. It's a ****ed up world we live in and there is not much we can do about it now but have hope and don't let these ******** get ya down..

Various reasons, leave it at that and don't kill yourself trying to find out the answer.

To cover up the last lie. Eventually it all comes out.

Lying....in my view, it's simply to manipulate to get what the liar wants, without regard to others. This amounts to nothing more than a complete lack of respect on the liars part. We've all been there, and some of us have blindly ignored the truth out of an obligation to be the dutiful spouse, what have you..
In the end, the only one hurt is the victim, the liar sees no fault on their part, just their own gratification |

Lying is one of my greatest make or break issues in a relationship. (Besides cheating of course) I am proud to say that I am honest, sometimes too honest but it's better than lying!!! |

We're programmed to lie from childhood. Think about it. Mom doesn't let you tell grandma that the christmas sweater is hideous. In fact that kind of rudeness would get ya a cuff upside the head. You politely say thank you and throw in a "it's wonderful" for good measure. Mom pats you on the head. Good little liar.
You get to school. Teacher tells you to write about who you admire. You write two sentences. "Your husband. He must be one helluva man for putting up with the likes of you." Chances are you won't get an A. Best write Obama, good little liar. You go to work. Boss asks you what you think of the new haircut. You don't tell him he looks like Mrs Potato Head. You say "It's great boss. How 'bout that promotion I need to pay Jr.'s college bill?". Good little liar. People lie for all kinds of reason, but mostly because it's accepted despite everyone griping about how wrong it is. |

people lie because they are cowards. Now I'm not saying this is always a bad thing. Sometimes it's just being afraid of hurting someone....but it's still a fear
