Ya' know the scene in George Orwell's "1984" where he's listening to the TV and it's saying how everything is great...yet earlier somebody was asking him for a fresh razor blade...and he's listening to this propaganda about how Oceana is the greatest country around...yet he's drinking this nauseating, oily textured vodka..and goes to light a cigarette...and half the tobacco falls out? Yea...I feel like that....

Ya' know the scene in George Orwell's "Big Brother" where he's listening to the TV and it's saying how everything is great...yet earlier somebody was asking him for a fresh razor blade...and he's listening to this propaganda about how Oceana is the greatest country around...yet he's drinking this nauseating, oily textured vodka..and goes to light a cigarette...and half the tobacco falls out? Yea...I feel like that....
On second thought, that sounds freaking awesome. Would make a kick azz poem. I need to write another one, I'm feeling sick and twisted and poetic..... |
