donnasic,

Thi Chi Cha is EXCELLENT, i recomend it to anyone who suffers
depression, anxiety, or for just daily well being. It is not like yoga
(not physical) but works by using movents to strengthen your inner
energy, and or your "aura". It combines meditation & movents, and its
effects are amazing. I took a class through MN state, but it can easily
be self taught.

Go to a bookstore or online book seller and look up the book "Joy
through movement"-By Justin Stone. He is the creator and developed this
new branch of Thi Chi.

It helped me alot when I was in a deep depression due to my upcoming
heart surgery in 2003. I found more strength, confidence and general
calmness more so then using prescribed drugs using Thi Chi Cha. Its
great because anyone can do it, no matter what condition they are in.

I took a yoga class a few semesters ago.

it was kind of cool, but I started getting bored with it.

Still, I remember a few things, and I use them once in a while.

Thi Chi Cha I use for stress/anxiety

The branch of yoga I do is pretty physical, for strengthing muscles and
improving posture. But I wasn't a pretzle twisting kind of person when I
started you ease into it the harder poses. But there are different
branches of yoga...One which is mostly meditation, one that is mostly
physical, and then there are branches that use both. But either one you
choose is very bennifital.

Pilates...I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!!! But it gives you one
HELL of a workout and you can do it in your own home without equipment.
