Ummm...do you pay ZERO attention to anything at all?? " Go Green/Global Warming/Death of mankind if you don't use the right kind of light bulb " stuff is the domain of the Liberals. Are you telling us that ISN'T trying to tell us how we should run our lives?? Of course, that comment comes from someone who says that Republican is the party of bigots and racists. Which basically tells everyone that she is better than anyone who happens to be a Republican...or even a conservative since she seems to equate the two. How condescending is that?? Suggesting a light bulb is dictating? The republican party houses most of the bigots and racists of this country. Not all of them but most. It is because the philosophy of the conservative republican party goes along with and allows the racist and bigot philosophy, it even gives it legitimacy because the places to further the racist philosophy are behind the conservative rhetoric.. Hell those who don't consider themselves racist who follow the conservative republican philosophy help the racists and bigots without even knowing they do it. That isn't condescending at all, it just happens to be the fact of the matter. Nope. But demanding that a company stop making them, and threatening to fine people who DON'T buy them IS dictating. Do you have any understanding how pathetic and tiring seeing that same old " Republicans are bigots and racist " argument is beginning to be?? Oh wait. You actually don't. You still think blaming Bush for everything is a good Liberal plan. it's truly sad to see someone completely blinded by rhetoric. You want racists?? How about the Libs who want to keep handing out money to the minorities so they can keep them from succeeding and, perhaps, realizing that they don't WANT the government dipping into their pockets at every opportunity. They are trying free not restrict like conservatives are. Would you consider Al Gore to be conservative??? Dragoness...I LIVE in Michigan. I am pretty sure I have a DAMN good idea what drove the auto companies into their current position. A combination of bad management, unreasonably high wage demands, and Liberal policies that put unreasonable mileage restrictions on what they could sell ALL contributed. When the Libs in California started demanding that cars get certain mileage, the auto companies started being punished for building the vehicles AMERICANS WERE BUYING and wanted to CONTINUE buying. No matter HOW you want to spin that, the fact remains that LIBERALS did quite a bit to put us in the economic position we are currently in. |
