correct...he didn't vote against it because he wasn't a US senator at the time. As far as continuing funding, I'm unsure about that one (couldn't find a source) but the argument could be used that he is continuing the war and sending more troops over there.

The point was and still is that he was against it, now that he was given the war and has a drawdown date this year I think he's doing what he can to get out of the war the criminal created by going in in the first place... No he sent more troops to Afghanistan...a war I am against escallating but I think he's hoping to leave a somewhat stable government...that will probably fail and we can't keep spending money and losing lives so I hope he gets us out soon. President Obama plans to draw down 2/3 of the troops by August this year and leave approximately 50,000 troops in support and training roles with a total withdrawal by Dec, 2011. It remains to be seen if the Iraqi army can sustain once we leave but it's still a withdrawal plan rather than an escallation. Some believe we are leaving too many troops but it's an attempt at leaving Iraq stable. I do wonder how many pawn card users even know how to play chess... |

If I recall correctly he wanted everything or else he wouldn't have ran in the election. I'm sick and tired of hearing he inherited or was givin this.
