So i'v been sending a few ladys a message and wanted to know what you guys think of what i'm sending. So here it is...

Hey i'm bill. I liked your profile and thought i'd say hi. I hope to hear back from you.

Sounds too generic. I would figure you are sending the same message to several people and I would ignore it

I agree with delilady. I don't respond to what I think are c/p emails. You might try to include something that you like about their profile (specially) so they know it's not a c/p type email.

Good idea but to much work. If they don't message back dats there loss.

It sounds simple, and honest. I like it. You don't pile on a lot of superfluous, insincere crap. You're not trying to hard; I respect that. I would reply to you. :)

simple is good...but individualize it some
if you really like 'her profile' then put a little effort into that first email.
first impressions are not always right...but it's a good place to start

why would you expect someone to reply to a message if you feel it's too much work?

would to want a generic reply...if you even got that?

you asked if it was a good message to send and I am telling you that you aren't going to have a lot of luck with it

your "message" is...............OK....

BUT.........

as Yellowrose stated, which I totally agree with, being more
SPECIFIC about what you liked about someones profile makes the
email more personal, & it shows that you actually TOOK THE TIME
to READ their profile!!!!!!! I personally like an email thats more personal, versus something so generic.........

By you saying that is TOO MUCH WORK, kinda tells me alittle about
the kind of person you are....and that you DONT take the time to read a profile!
GOOD LUCK!

I'd think you don't answer any except maybe a thank you, being that you have a boyfriend...

I think your email is ok if you don't care whether or not they respond.. If you're really interested I'd say a little bit more.. So what if you spend a little extra time, it could be a good thing in the end...

Unless I like the pic/profile/comments on the forum, preferably all three, I don't reply. Doesn't matter if it's "the world's greatest email." But that's just me.

I hear ya... I usually just say "thank you" but some well they're just to weird to even bother answering...
