We have a woman where I work who's always hugging co-workers. This
happens on a daily basis. Sure, it's nice to get a hug, but this is a
workplace. Opinions?

company policy should govern.

Personally that would be too close for my comfort...I would politely let
her know that it infringes on your and others personal space and maybe
she will get the hint!!!!!

I work with Army soldiers and they're always hugging me and each other
and slapping each other and me on the back. I don't take it personally,
to them it means I'm one of the guys and that makes me feel good, as I
like to fit in wherever I am. Of course it's hard with these
suspenders, but I do my best...

"Her kissing vocation was not all laughs and giggles. She was arrested
and charged with trespassing nearly 20 times, often spending 12 to 14
hours in jail and paying a $100 fine."

laugh what's this have to do with anything?

I personally feel that one who give hugs everyday openly is much better
person who does in secreatly and hiding :)

well it's not a matter who is better morally. I think it's about
professionalism.

If it is an informal get-together event with co-workers hug as much as
you want. In the office, chill out laugh
