Another morning, another day

Time to run, and exercise away

Same old thoughts, as you burn

What do you know, what will you learn



Shower for work, a cup of tea

Dry your hair, a thought of me

Your love is gone, you feel alone

Not really sure, if you’re coming home



Get in your car, start that drive

When will you feel, feel alive

Did you ever love him, you ask yourself

You have to leave, your plan is stealth



Just want to be happy, not a wife

Have to get on, on with your life

Never intended to hurt, is what you say

It’s just a price, you have to pay



For your happiness, will be his sorrow

Forgetting the past, you see tomorrow

You taste the freedom, and drink your hopes

You say goodbye, and cut the ropes



You’re so sorry, you hurt him so

It’s just not there, the love you felt

It was a long time ago, that hand was dealt



Not really sure what you want

You were a wife, a mother too
