"We have to stop being ideologically bogged down. We have to stop trying to implement New Deal philosophy from the 1930's that doesn't translate to 2010. The Democrats have to become the party of the middle class or else there is no difference between us and Republicans"

in case you didn't find this in the state run media...

Public Policy Polling reports 49 percent of those surveyed trust Fox. The other big media guns - CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC - are wallowing in red polling territory...

I dont trust any network that is not paid for by a diverse group of interests....I prefer NPR or BBC to be honest

Its scary to me that people listen to such emotional spin and take it as gospel,,,,thats all

by definition, an AVERAGE IQ overall is 100, so 98 is just slightly below average

Take into consideration the Average Japanese IQ is 107 and its not quite as scary. We could still do much better though.

"Obama cited several examples of what he said was GOP legislative maneuvering motivated purely by political considerations. Among other things, he raised the recent example of seven GOP senators who backed a bill establishing a bipartisan deficit reduction commission, but then turned against it when the proposal came to a vote.

He also noted that a large number of bills have been subjected to Republican-led filibusters, only to receive 85 or 90 votes once the filibuster is broken and the legislation is allowed to move to a final vote.

I'm "not open to switches" solely "because it's good short-term politics," he said. I won't tolerate an "if you lose, I win" mentality."

I seem to recall him saying I won or we won.

I'll have to look and find it.
