Hummmmmmmmm plans have changed not actually a date though it is a singles meet going to watch the movie Valentines and go out to eat after wards.......with others that are single well suppose to anyway unless things change

not yet, but I did book a reservation at a nice place... just in case!! (seriously)... $.02 Do I have this right? You booked a table at a good restaurant in the HOPES of finding a date? I am almost tempted to put up my real picture :-) Well deserved nick I am thinking. Haha your to much!!! It's those chaps :-)

Valentine's day is just a Hallmark holiday. It gets people to buy cards and other crap that only get thrown away the next day.

No date and it does not bother me at all. Even when I had someone special in my life, Valentine's Day was not a special day for me. Then again, when you lived with an alcoholic every day was "special". There was the one year he had to go on a "business" trip and called me 3 days later on V DAY from Vegas asking for plane fare to get home. Maybe when I met the "ONE" it will be more of a special day.

So if Valentine's Day was originally to remember the death of St Valentine who was clubbed then beheaded for refusing to give up his faith, shouldn't you take your significant other to see a brutal murder not give them stupid cards?
