I went online, researching Nicorette Gum, I think I will try that. It says you cannot smoke while you are taking it, so in a day or 2 I'll get some I have 2 1/2 packs left, so I should be able to get it then, and start using that.

I'd think that's safer than the patch. I did the patch and thought I'd lose my mind. I thought I was having a heart attack. Those things can't be safe. I tried to sleep and kept hearing this thumping sound, right? I'm thinkin' "what the hell is that sound?..Then I realized it was my heart racing....

Good luck in your efforts to quit smoking! I quit "cold-turkey" about 12 years ago...best thing I ever did for myself.

Good luck quitting is spool hard but just think....... You'll feel so much better you'll breathe easier your food will taste better you'll smell better!!

Good luck I quit cold turkey 7 years ago this January to me that is the best way to go...........
