Ringo has always been my least favorite for sure.Its increasingly becoming irritating with his ego and his telling everyone he is the greatest!The original drummer is very cool,Pete is just the opposite of Ringo in that department! Yeah, he is a relic, that is really all ... He did a couple of good things. Let's face it, but for his Beatles acclaim by proxy? He is like one hit wonders, largely forgettable! Hope you'll enjoy the Beatles thread... ALWAYS great to meet a true knower, lover, purveyor of THE VERY BEST! |

I always dug Ringo's drummin
he had that rolling snare semi syncopated style and never played the same thing twice in a song some people say he had no talent and I say he was good enough to be a Beatle. I like alot of their stuff,, wouldnt say Im specifically a fan though,, never purchased nor would purchase their music(with the exception of Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band which is a movie I STILL love).

I was given the Remastered Box-set for Christmas and HIGHLY recommend it. The first 4 albums especially sound brand new! |

Abbey Road was their best album. IMO. You HAVE to give a listen to their REMASTERED version that came out a few months ago. It's simply INCREDIBLE on a good stereo system.
