My father always ate canned fish, like sardines or herring, or even smoked fish, on peanut butter toast, before hunting. He said it brought him good luck. I still eat it that way, but not just before hunting. I actually like it. Plus, it may in fact, bring good luck. 
Anyone else got any? My mother loved peanut butter sandwiches with sliced onions on them..I could never eat them!
