Oh!absolutely.That was a tough hard fought battle till the very end.Look at Game#7,the intensity was electrifying.I was on the edge of my seat.But the Pens were tenacious & kept bringing it to them.I love when they get nasty down low.I live for them moment.Sweet Jesus! the last 30 sec.the Pens are hemmed in & there's an onslaught of shots on Fluery.Save! Save!Save! then they rang his crossbar w/ 7 sec.'s left.The wind went right out of me.I'll never forget that Cup series.Godspeed!Cy   The great Detroit dynasty was humbled.
They did a pretty good number on them the other night too. |

replace wars with cricket games? Well. (1) Cricket can't draw the crowds that a good war can. (2) It hasn't nearly the bloodbath capacity. (3) Ticket sales are no match for war profiteering. (4) After a game, you go to bed..after a war you are dead. Now that is a crowd pleaser. It must be. To be more popular than Cricket. |

They did a pretty good number on them the other night too.  They are not the same team they were last yr. that's for sure.But sad to say neither are my beloved B's.We went from a 117 pt season w/ 3 of the NHL'S greatest honors to this sad state/slump that we're currently in.
