Hi Holly I'm not on FB. I hope you had fun at the fanclub. As for Locke, he seems to be dead. The smoke monster may be the guy that wanted to kill Jacob in Season 5 last episode and has taken Locke's appearance. Too many commercials ABC!!!! I want to see more LOST, less andvertising! |

****SPOILER ALERT*****
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you didn't watch last night's episode of LOST, be warned the following post may contain spoilers. Juliet told Miles after her death that the "BOMB" worked. Is that why some of the characters are in 2 different time line? Are both the time lines real. or is this just another wild goose chase from the LOST writers? I certainly hope not, we have been loyal fans and deserve better than this lame time travel storyline. It appears that bad boy Sawyer is back. This should add an interesting twist to the story. I wonder if killing Jacob was a good idea? I guess time will tell. Charlie and Claire are back, (and it's about time). But they are in the time-line where the plane didn't crash. I have the feeling that all questions will not be answered as the series ends this year. And I still want to know what the hell that smoke moster really is, don't you? And the final goodbye between Sawyer and Juliet pulled at my heart strings. Well looks like I'll be tuned in next week, ready to become LOST all over again! |

Jack and most of the original passengers of 815 are in a "what-if" alternate time line...like my reasoning?
and the evil dark- shirted man who was talking to Jacob on the beach is really the devil or whatever represents evil - and has taken John Locke's form...He wanted Jacob dead and want3ed to go home...didn't you see how he looked like the devil when he said those words? when he said he wanted to go home? does that make any sense? |

I hate to say that nothing is really making much sense as far as the show goes. I believe pure evil is an understatement as far as this new guy is concerned. And where is home really? It may be Hell, (if this guy is the devil), but that's seems to be too easy of an answer. |

With Lost fans eager for answers in the final season of the ABC drama, at least one of the show's mysteries may get resolved: Who is Jacob's nemesis? Jacob's mysterious nemesis returning to Lost LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - With Lost fans eager for answers in the final season of the ABC drama, at least one of the show's mysteries may get resolved: Who is Jacob's nemesis? Titus Welliver, who played the mysterious character in six episodes last season, is set to reprise his role in the second part of Lost's sixth season, which premieres Feb. 2. Jacob's nemesis (a.k.a. Man in Black), who last appeared in Season 5's finale, is an inhabitant of the Island who had spent a century looking for ways to kill Jacob (Mark Pellegrino) until finally succeeding in 2007 by assuming the appearance of the dead John Locke (Terry O'Quinn) and persuading Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) to stab Jacob. The Man in Black's name, identity, motives, backstory and bone of contention with Jacob were never revealed, leading to a flurry of speculation among Lost fans about who he really is. Welliver has a recurring role on CBS' freshman drama The Good Wife as a nemesis of Julianna Margulies, and recently did an arc on the FX drama Sons of Anarchy. A number of castaways will be returning to the island for Lost's final season. The program's showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse recently said Harold Perrineau and Cynthia Watros are coming back to reprise their roles. http://www.leaderpost.com/entertainment/Jacob+mysterious+nemesis+returning+Lost/2481642/story.html |

An article I found interesting concerning Jacob, enjoy
Jacob and Esau Bible Story Puzzled Over by Puzzled Lost Fans By Robert Dougherty http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1747152/jacob_and_esau_bible_story_puzzled.html?singlepage=true&cat=2 Jacob and Esau is a classic Bible story, detailing how Jacob and Esau are two brothers fighting for their birthright. But for Lost, Jacob and Esau are just two more Bible references to make, and another story of literature to parallel. Jacob's significance on Lost has been speculated for three seasons, as the God-like, unseen leader of the Others. But Jacob was not alone on the island, as the Lost season finale proved. Now, the story of Jacob and Esau may be our only clues for nine months as to who is impersonating the late John Locke. The Lost season finale didn't begin in 1977 or 2007, but possible in the mid 1800's - when the Black Rock slave ship arrived and the four toed statue was still standing. This event was marked by two men having a typically cryptic conversation - with the one in the white shirt revealed as the long awaited Jacob. The second man, wearing a black shirt and played by Deadwood actor Titus Welliver, was never revealed by name. All we learned of him was that he has a dim view of humanity, and he wants to find a loophole to kill Jacob. And in the end of the season finale, Lost provided its biggest shock of the night by revealing he had. The strange, resurrected John Locke was not resurrected - but in fact, was being impersonated by Jacob's long time nemesis. And this unknown man had manipulated Ben Linus all throughout the last few weeks to finally kill Jacob, which he appeared to accomplish. In the desperate search for clues as to who this shape shifting, vengeful, possibly villainous figure is, Lost fans have searched the Bible story of Jacob and Esau. In the Bible, Jacob is a quiet, intelligent, crafty being, much like Lost's Jacob. Esau, on the other hand, is an impulsive hunter and gatherer who blames Jacob for stealing his birthright. So Esau tries to get one up on Jacob and take power over him, perhaps like the mystery man did to Lost's Jacob last night. But the lesson of Jacob and Esau is that it was a battle between two strong, flawed would-be leaders that had to combine their strengths to overcome their weaknesses - a common theme of Lost. Good and evil was often at a blur, as is always the case on Lost. Jacob was the chosen son, but Esau was always lurking behind the scenes - just like the Esau stand in on Lost seems to have always been lurking. With Jacob's unnamed rival getting a decisive win in the Lost season finale, fans have nine months of Bible studying to figure out if Jacob can rise again. As if this season, with its constant Jesus and religious parallels, didn't drive enough Lost fans to study the Bible when not studying physics. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Two previews of next weeks episode, "What Kate Does" It’s a pretty straightforward clip, but the implications of the conversation might be bigger than we imagine. Say, the question we had at the end of Tuesday night’s premiere: is Sayid now Jacob? Video 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENRo6PWISjc ABC released a new clip from next week’s Lost episode, “What Kate Does”, which pretty much amounts to Kate escaping Edward Mars after Oceanic 815 lands in Los Angeles. Last we saw her, she forcibly took a taxi with Claire inside it, and in this clip, we see, well, what happens next. Video 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ShlMSe51t8 |
