I had a long chat with the artist today and he agrees with me that those "fad tats" are stupid. If you are about to go through the pain and hours, why not get something unique and original?

I have to go in early on Tuesday to help the artist cause he's never seen an Israeli flag before. So I told him I would bring the real thing... lol.... He will have a life sized example in front of him!

If he can't do the photo, I will work with him on something close to it. I am pretty easy to convince.

I am excited. I told him he has one month to get it done so we are going to be going back to back after Feb 9. I told him my budget and he said "wow, um, okay!" (working with $3k for the tattoos.) I might finish up the couple more piercings I wanted before I head out. Yaniv says that tattoos and piercings are wicked expensive in Israel.

Imagine this, one month rent in Israel, 2000ISL, which converts to $534USD. And he makes about $1000USD a month. He said the only reason he is quitting smoking isn't for his heath, but because he can't afford it anymore. (Maybe I shouldn't buy him a carton over at the Duty-Free....eh, screw it, I want his car... j/k lol)

That is why I am going to sit down with the artist and help him write in Hebrew cursive. I told him, "One slip, one missed flick of the wrist, and you aren't writing my daughter's name but instead you are writing something vulgar."
